Soft Tissue Manual Tool Level 1 Prerequisite


This course is a prerequisite to the live portion of the Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Certification.  It is not intended as a stand alone course and cannot be purchased separate to the IASTM certification. The course is 3  hours in length and consists of slides with the instructor narrating. A test is provided after the 3 hour online course, 80% score required.

 

 

Objectives:

  1. Explain the history of IASTM and fundamentals of IASTM and Kinesiology Taping
  2. Describe various tool options
  3. Describe physiological responses of IASTM
  4. Explain safety and hygiene considerations for IASTM tools
