Alex Koszalinski, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, CMTPT
Dr. Alex Koszalinski is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Curriculum with the South College School of Physical Therapy, in Knoxville, TN. He completed his entry level MS physical therapy degree from Grand Valley State University in 1996 and the tDPT degree with manual therapy certification track (MTC) from the University of St. Augustine in 2003. He completed a fellowship in Manual Physical Therapy in 2007 through Regis University. In addition, Dr. Koszalinski is currently in the dissertation phase in the PhD in Physical Therapy program from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Koszalinski is board certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He completed the Janet G. Travell seminar series in trigger point dry needling program leading to the credential as a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT). His prior academic experience includes an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor at Walsh University from 2002-2007. He has also conducted several continuing education programs in manual therapy. Dr. Koszalinski has held a number of clinical positions in outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine dating back to 1996, including Regional Manager and Co-Owner of Breakthrough Physical Therapy in Fayetteville, NC.
