Joshua Pniewski, PT, DPT
Joshua Pniewski, PT, DPT, is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and skilled clinician with over a decade of experience ranging from clinical care to consulting to higher education. Currently Dr. Pniewski is practicing in an outpatient private practice serving mainly post operative and sports medicine patients. Prior to this he worked for the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center as a Staff Physical Therapist focusing on the treatment of complex patient cases. After leaving the military setting he spent time as a Professor of Physical Therapy at Augusta University in Augusta, GA. Dr. Pniewski is a lead researcher on multiple publications, including “A Criterion Based Sling Weaning Progression and Outcomes Following Arthroscopic Surgery in an Active Duty Population” published by the International Journal of Sports Medicine in 2014. He has lectured nationwide on various shoulder pathologies, reviews manuscripts for the American Journal of Sports Medicine and most recently presented at the American Society of Shoulder and Elbow Therapists. Dr. Pniewski brings a fresh new take on complicated post-surgical pathologies and prides himself on showing how his material can be applicable to all levels of experience. His personal extensive experience in clinical settings, research laboratories and higher education make him one of the most sought after clinical instructors in the country. He currently lives in Aiken, SC with his wife Melanie and their four kids.
